The Acton Handyman is owned by Kevin
and Patty Connolly. Kevin is a highly skilled
carpenter, contractor, builder, and tinkerer. He
started in the building business in the 1980s.
Kevin became a “hometown handyman” serving
neighborhoods in Westchester County in 2000
when the property investment management
company that Patty worked for moved their
family to New York. In 2012, the Connolly
family came back to Massachusetts, and to
Patty’s childhood hometown of Acton to provide
hospice care for Kevin’s mother and to be nearby
Patty’s parents.
The statistic we are most proud of is that over
the past 30 years, two-thirds of Kevin’s clients
are repeat customers. Kevin earns that loyalty
by being sincere, competent, and reliable. Once
clients know and trust Kevin through handyman
projects, many invite him back to remodel
kitchens and bathrooms or to complete the
renovation they have been postponing.
Kevin’s goals are to establish solid
relationships with his clients and to deliver
quality workmanship within the expected time-
