http://discoverymuseums.org/visitor-information/hours-admissionTwo great museums—for one admission price—
blend the best of STEAM (Science, Technology,
Engineering, Art, and Math) learning and intentional
play on a beautiful 4.5-acre campus in Acton.
Children’s Discovery Museum, Ages 0-6
Little ones can wander from room to room in this
historic Victorian-style house, where each room offers
a different theme and surprises are around every corner.
With three floors of hands-on, interactive exhibits based
on trains, water, the outdoors, air, balls and ramps, and
more, imaginations are free to grow.
Science Discovery Museum, All Ages
Children use their natural curiosity to explore the
ordinary in extraordinary ways. Using their senses and
critical thinking skills, visitors explore physical science,
music, art, math, technology, and engineering concepts
in an inviting, hands-on, interactive environment.
We offer more than 400 hands-on, staff-led activities
each year, ranging from story time to Make-A-Mess
to NanoDays to a full week of fun in the worlds of
Fairyborough or Dirtopia. And our outdoor exhibits are
a starting point to more than two miles of hiking trails
that abut our campus.
